Now you can easily create a Web site that serves as the central repository of all project information—documents, contacts, tasks, discussions, calendars, surverys, and much more.
How is this useful?
Let's say that you are working on a project document and you want to collaborate with a colleague. Currently you would edit the document and email it to your colleague, who would open and review it, make changes, and email it back to you.
SharePoint™ Team Services -
cuts out all of the extra steps in the collaboration process, allowing you to work real time with your colleague, and even hold a discussion about the document so that other team members can review the changes and understand them, without having to ask you for clarification. They can also subscribe to collaborated documents and many other SharePoint Team Services web site features, so that they are automatically notified each time an item is updated.
With SharePoint Team Services you choose who can view, edit, add, and remove items in your SharePoint Team Services web site. Best of all, your team members only need a Web browser to participate!

SharePoint Team Services is not available with Personal level plans. The SharePoint Team Services Add-on options include a 3rd-level domain name (something.yourdomain.tld) where your SharePoint Team Services site will reside. The SharePoint Team Services stand-alone accounts must have their own domain, or can use a 3rd-level domain name if you are hosting your web site with us or can modify the DNS entries on your existing web site to create one.
We reserve the right to limit the number of user roles and sub webs that you may create, in order to maintain system integrity.
